【高分必殺技】Lena老師 IELTS雅思寫作Part 3

Essay架構雖然死板，卻能幫您在短時間內有條理的寫出一篇好文章，只要了解Essay的寫作方法，絕對可以應付市面上絕大多數英文考試的寫作測驗，是一種學會就能吃一輩子的才能。

Task 2的申論題目範圍廣泛，可能涵蓋藝術，商業，犯罪，教育，飲食，健康，天文，體育，觀光，交通和工作等。

多寫多練習是不變的法則，尤其在考試時間的壓力下，必須訓練自己想著英文，寫出英文的能力(不是想著中文再翻譯成英文)，才能戰勝寫作考試！

【Task2 常見題型】

Agree or Disagree 同意或不同意	要選邊站，可以在開頭和結尾說說明自己站在哪一邊？文章的內容則解釋同意(或不同意)的原因和理由
Advantages outweigh Disadvantages 好處與壞	好處寫一段，壞處寫一段，接下來結尾的時候可以說明好處多於壞處 (反之亦然)
Discuss two views +opinion 討論正反論點＋意見	正面論點寫一段，反面論點寫一段，自己的意見可以在開頭和結尾說明，不需要額外增加一個段落(怕時間不夠…)
Discuss two views only 單純討論正反論點 (不提意見)	還是老話一句，正面論點寫一段，反面論點寫一段，自己的意見不用提。
Cause/Problem and Solution 原因/問題和解決辦法	問題寫一段，解決辦法寫一段，如果有問到原因或是產生的影響，都可以歸類在問題段落
Opinion 意見	題目問的是你的意見，所以不需要寫出正反兩面的論點
2-part question 兩個問題	目的是“回答問題”，所以不需要做額外的解析。建議一個問題寫一段，這樣可以讓評委閱讀輕鬆舒服

【Essay的基本架構】

基本Essay需要四個段落組成。
第一段：Introduction 開頭段落說明整篇文章的重點
第二段：Body 1主題段落1
第三段：Body 2 主題段落2
第四段：Conclusion 結尾段落整合文章內容

備註

• 開頭段落的最後一句話稱為Thesis statement，必須說明整篇文章的重點，也方便讀者一眼找到閱讀重點
• 主題段落的第一句話稱為Topic Sentence，是該段落文章的綱要，讀者可以從這句話判斷是否要繼續閱讀下去...
• 結尾段落千萬不可以提出新論點，只需整合文章內容

選自Cambridge English IELTS 10, Test 3

Countries are becoming more and more similar because people are able to buy the same products anywhere in the world. Do you think this is a positive or negative development?

INTRO (Thesis statement)

I strongly believe that this modern development is largely detrimental to culture and traditions worldwide.

BODY (Topic sentence)

A country’s history, language and ethos are all inextricably bound up in its manufactured artifacts.

CONCLUSION

Some may argue that all people are entitled to have access the same products, but I say that local objects suit local conditions best.

選自Cambridge English IELTS 9, Test 3

Some people say that the best way to improve public health is by increasing the number of sports facilities. Others, however, say that this would have little effect on public health and that other measures are required. Discuss both these views and give your own opinion.

INTRO (Thesis statement)

One possible solution is to provide more sports facilities to encourage a more active lifestyle.

BODY (Topic sentence)

However, there may be better ways of tackling this problem

CONCLUSION

In my opinion, focusing on sports facilities is too narrow an approach and would not have the desired results.
